It is public knowledge that search engine Google continuously seeks ways to improve their services. Recently, it had launched a new interface for its search results on tablet devices. Users of the said device would notice the big difference between the old layout from the latest version.
Unlike the old integration of desktop and mobile scheme, this new view now has its own interface that displays card-like results with heaps of white space on both left and right side of the search results and features a thinner top bar navigation.
Local search results now take up the whole screen. There are a few users that even claim that they are seeing mobile-friendly labels on the results of Google search. However, not everyone can say the same.
Google has yet to comment on this latest change in search result interface. Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Google told online news site, Search Engine Land, “this week we began rolling out a new tablet Search results page, bringing the best of Google Search to tablets.”
